Condominiums Sales in Mammoth are Booming Compared to Last Year....While Single Family Res Still Slow To Sell

Posted on Dec 19, 2009
What a difference a year makes! Sales are brisk these days for the Mammoth Condo Market. Condominiums in the $150,000 to $600,000 range are selling at a pretty good clip! This is certainly good news, both for the buyer and seller. Prices are off about 45%-50% from the early 2006 highs. The number of condominiums sold is up some 200 to 300 percent over last year this time.

The inventory has declined by over 1/3 from last year with less then 200 units for sale now. On an annual average, the demand has increased to supply and is why the decline in inventory. Bank Repos and short sales are making up about 25% of today's sales.
